As part of our pre-Kickstarter awareness/buzz/”are you out of your friggin’ mind Jacobs?“ campaign, I’m sharing all of the “Foundational Principles” for this game. Back at Mythic I used the term “Guiding Principles” in some games’ vision/design documents. I’m using the term Foundational Principles here because frankly, they are set in stone. I want our Kickstarter backers to know exactly what kind of game we want to create. While a lot of the details still need to be worked out of course and while some things can and will usually change during development, these principles must not, cannot and will not be changed by anyone at CSE, including myself. This is my promise to you and that is one of the reasons we haven’t been and aren’t seeking publisher backing or involvement. These FPs will show you exactly what kind of game Camelot Unchained will be when it is completed. I truly hope you like and agree with them.
