Sound Engineer/Designer - Contract
City State Entertainment is looking for a Contract Sound Engineer to help design and implement sound assets for our games Camelot Unchained and Final Stand: Ragnarok.

Job Description

You’ll be creating concepts to solve a wide variety of problems, ranging from designing what things will look like to finding visual solutions that enhance gameplay and support the project’s narrative. The narrative is important to us and you’ll be challenged at every turn to tell interesting narrative in all your designs. Your keen eye and art sensibilities will be key in creating artwork that inspires and informs the team and helps define the art style.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and implement game audio assets including music, sound effects and dialogue that matches the aesthetics of the game
  • Oversee all audio mixing, music mixing, and sound effects
  • Create and maintain audio pipelines and technologies (debugging and troubleshooting any audio issues)
  • Create and implement any original audio needed: sound effects, voice effects, voiceovers, music, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments to help design, create, and implement new audio tools and features

Requirements & Skills

  • Must have at least one shipped PC/Console title
  • 3 year minimum experience working with game audio

Concept Artist - Contract
City State Entertainment is looking for a highly skilled Concept Artist to assist with the creation of environment and character concept art on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate would possess a deep understanding of both visual communication and information hierarchy in order to provide the best product to our customers. We are looking for a concept artist that can rapidly prototype and make expedient changes to prototypes based on feedback.

Job Description

Massive games involve massive amounts of data and assets. With that comes the need to rapidly and responsively make changes, then push them from internal development through testing and into the hands of tens of thousands of players on dozens of servers in a live game. In this role you’ll help design and implement the infrastructure to make that possible. You’ll work with nearly everyone on the team, from artists to world builders to designers, to understand and accelerate both individual workflows and team collaboration through better tools and architecture. You’ll assemble the right mix of off-the-shelf systems and code you create yourself to help develop our build process, the front- and back-end of our patcher, and our server infrastructure. You’ll be the person who makes it all go.

Software Engineer - Graphics

Responsibilities

In this position, you would be expected to work closely with technical leadership and other engineers to identify and resolve issues, research and implement new features in our proprietary rendering environment, and help drive superior visual quality of our game. Responsibilities

In this position your would be working directly with artists and engineers driving the visual development of Camelot Unchained, coaching artists and other stakeholders in the latest and greatest graphical capabilities of current gen technology, and generating high quality shaders, materials, scripts, and rigs.
